This work is one of series of old trees in which I drew  freehand on canvas using a sewing machine needle as a pen. It references a gnarly London Plane tree I photographed in a London park.

Both the Plane and Yew were exhibited in the Black Lion Hotel, New Quay, Wales, reputed to be poet Dylan Thomas's favourite watering hole in West Wales.
